Weekend coverage required. Cardiology NP/PA. Georgia license. Collaborative care. Actually have a life. Done.
Key Responsibilities
- Prescribes appropriate pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment modalities
- Performs evaluations and treatment procedures in emergency situations when necessary.
- Maintains patient confidentiality
- Collaborates with multidisciplinary team members by making appropriate referrals
- Leadership: Professionally challenge self to demonstrate higher level of contribution and commitment
- Self-Development: Possess a commitment to personal development and the ability to function as an expert resource for the organization
Requirements
- Attends required meetings and participates on committees as requested.
- Performs related work as required or assigned
- Master's Degree or higher in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies
- Minimum of 1 to 3 years work experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant is required
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications are required

- Facilitates the patient’s transition with and between healthcare settings (ex: admitting, transferring and discharging patients)

Work Schedule
- Functions independently to perform age-appropriate history and physician for complex acute, critical and chronically ill patients
