Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient histories and physical examinations to evaluate emergency medical conditions.
- Order, interpret, and act upon diagnostic tests such as laboratory studies, imaging, and EKGs to guide clinical decision
- Develop and implement treatment plans including prescribing medications, performing procedures, and coordinating follow
- Collaborate closely with emergency physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Current and unrestricted Physician Assistant license to practice in New Jersey.
- Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
