About the Role

Waukesha County's Department of Health & Human Services is recruiting a full-time Clinical Therapist, with possible underfill as Senior Mental Health Counselor. This hybrid role splits time between the Communications Center and the Mental Health Center, providing crisis intervention and embedded crisis counseling.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor 911 calls for mental health response.
Join calls requiring mental health professional support.
Dispatch mobile crisis teams.
Provide DHS 34 crisis services and mobile assessments.
Track data related to mental health response.

Requirements

Master's degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or related field.
Advanced Practice Social Worker, LPC in Training, or LMFT in Training status minimum.
Two years post-bachelor work experience in related field.
For Senior Mental Health Counselor underfill: Bachelor's degree with relevant experience.
