Key Responsibilities

The Speech-Language Pathologist is responsible for evaluating and treating geriatric patients with deficits in swallowing, cognition, and communication. They must also coordinate care with families and staff while maintaining accurate clinical documentation in compliance with Medicare guidelines.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Master’s degree in speech-language pathology and possess an active Oklahoma state license. A passing score on the national Praxis Exam is required, and experience with older adult diagnostic groups is preferred.
