Unit size ranges from 11 to 14 beds.

Key Responsibilities

• The Mental Health Counselor works as part of a multi-disciplinary team, to provide behavioral intervention based on assessed needs for patients with related psychiatric conditions.

• Is knowledgeable about the assigned patient's treatment goals and intervenes as identified in the treatment plan.

• Is able to implement assigned aspects of the treatment plan under supervision.

• Facilitates or leads group psychoeducational sessions in the milieu and documents the sessions.
