PHYSICIAN - INTERNAL MEDICINE

Join Family Care Health Centers as a Internal Medicine Physician – Community Health, MO in Missouri. I. BASIC FUNCTION: Responsible for providing comprehensive primary care services for patients who receive health care at Family Care Health Centers.

Key Responsibilities

• Provides comprehensive primary medical care including examination, diagnosis, treatment, patient counseling, referral and medical follow-up, including lab result and diagnostic test interpretation.

• Provides consultation to Nurse Practitioners, Nurse Midwives and Physician Assistants.

• Provides telephone consultation to patients and families as necessary.

• Maintains appropriate policies, protocols, records, reports, and statistical data relevant to services provided.

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy required.

• License to practice medicine in the State of Missouri and be in good standing required.

• Drug licensed including DEA and BNDD numbers required.

• Medicare and Medicaid provider enrollment numbers including Medicare UPIN number.
