Key Responsibilities

Maintain compliance with all HIPAA, OSHA, and regulatory standards to uphold patient safety and privacy.

Order, interpret, and integrate diagnostic tests, such as laboratory studies, imaging, and women’s health–specific screenings, to formulate preliminary diagnoses and evidence‑based treatment plans.

Administer medications, immunizations, and therapeutic treatments according to state law and clinical protocols. Perform minor procedures such as suturing of small lacerations when appropriate.

Educate patients and families on medications, treatment plans, contraception options, fertility considerations, prenatal/postnatal care, and preventive health strategies.

Requirements

Current Ohio CNP, APRN, in good standing

Comprehensive knowledge of women’s health nursing theory, clinical practices, and regulatory guidelines

Proficiency with clinical instruments and equipment used in ENT and primary care

Understanding of safety standards, infection control measures, and best practices for maintaining a safe clinical environment
