Key Responsibilities
- Maintain compliance with all HIPAA, OSHA, and regulatory standards to uphold patient safety and privacy.
- Order, interpret, and integrate diagnostic tests, such as laboratory studies, imaging, and women’s health–specific screenings, to formulate preliminary diagnoses and evidence‑based treatment plans.
- Administer medications, immunizations, and therapeutic treatments according to state law and clinical protocols. Perform minor procedures such as suturing of small lacerations when appropriate.
- Educate patients and families on medications, treatment plans, contraception options, fertility considerations, prenatal/postnatal care, and preventive health strategies.
Requirements
- Current Ohio CNP, APRN, in good standing
- Comprehensive knowledge of women’s health nursing theory, clinical practices, and regulatory guidelines
- Proficiency with clinical instruments and equipment used in ENT and primary care
- Understanding of safety standards, infection control measures, and best practices for maintaining a safe clinical environment
