About the Role

Join Houston Hospice as a Hospice NP PRN – South of I-10, Houston in Houston, Texas. This position is recruiting for a PRN Nurse Practitioner to service the area south of I-10. Houston Hospice believes that the most valuable resource to an organization is it’s Employees.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform direct patient care based on the nursing process and within the scope of the Registered Nurse Practice Act.
  • Identify nursing problems, psychosocial, spiritual and emotional issues as they relate to the individual needs of the patient and family.
  • Perform face
  • face encounters and share clinical findings with hospice physician.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current Texas license.
  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing with specialist degree as Nurse Practitioner.
  • Currently licensed as Nurse Practitioner in the State of Texas.
  • Current certification in basic life support.

Work Schedule

  • Per Diem position.
  • No explicit call, weekend, or night shift information provided.
