The clinical pharmacist provides comprehensive medication management services, including reviewing patient medication history and educating patients on drug therapy. They are responsible for improving patient experience and safety while achieving positive clinical and financial outcomes.
A Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) degree or a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (BSPharm) with three years of hospital experience is required. Licensure with the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Pharmacy is also necessary, with a preference for candidates with an ASHP Accredited Residency in Pharmacy Practice.
