Key Responsibilities

The Respiratory Therapist administers respiratory care to patients of all ages, including medication administration and mechanical ventilation management. They also provide supervisory oversight for the blood gas laboratory and participate in multi-disciplinary clinical rounds.

Requirements

Candidates must hold an Associate's Degree from an AMA-approved Respiratory Therapy program and possess a current New York State RT license. Certification from the NBRC and BLS/CPR are required, with 3-5 years of clinical experience preferred.
