Key Responsibilities

Provide direct therapeutic counseling support to parents and/or families on a short

term basis.

Connect parents to on

site Mental Health Counselor and/or Community School Coordinator when there are identified barriers and/or refer to external community organizations as appropriate.

Requirements

Prior experience as a mental health professional

Experience working with mental health agencies and service providers

Experience with, or knowledge of mental health/public health needs, specifically trauma

Demonstrated ability to work with and provide culturally competent services to diverse populations
