Key Responsibilities

The counselor evaluates, treats, and supports individuals in their recovery from substance use disorders as part of an interdisciplinary team. They are responsible for conducting screenings, developing treatment plans, and coordinating post-release services for justice-involved individuals.

Requirements

Candidates must possess a High School diploma and relevant certification, with a Bachelor's degree in a health services field preferred. Experience providing substance use disorder counseling is required, along with the ability to maintain compliant clinical documentation.
