Senior Occupational Therapist

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Occupational Therapist will provide patient-centered, evidence-based clinical care in acute inpatient wards and the outpatient department, focusing on lymphoedema assessment and treatment interventions. Responsibilities also include contributing to clinical protocol development, delegating and supervising junior staff, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.

Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor or Master of Occupational Therapy degree and be registered with AHPRA, along with being a qualified lymphoedema therapist eligible for a Medicare provider number. Proven ability to independently provide lymphoedema assessments and interventions in both inpatient and outpatient settings is essential, alongside strong communication skills for multidisciplinary teamwork.
