Key Responsibilities

The Physical Therapist will provide comprehensive physical therapy services to beneficiaries of the Arizona Air National Guard, including musculoskeletal injury care, utilizing approved clinical privileges such as ordering imaging studies and joint injections. Responsibilities also involve developing rehabilitation protocols, advising unit leadership on injury prevention and Sports Medicine, and maintaining compliance with all required documentation and continuing education.

Requirements

Candidates must possess a master’s degree (doctorate preferred) in physical therapy, a valid state physical therapy license, and board certification as an Orthopedic or Sports Clinical Specialist. A minimum of five years of post-professional experience performing manual therapy in sports medicine with athletes at high levels (NCAA Division I, Olympic, professional, or Special Operations) is required.
