About the Role

Join Tippecanoe County Government as a Licensed Addiction Counselor – Community Corrections in United States. Key Responsibilities

  • Assesses and reports cases of chemical dependency, substance abuse, potential suicide, physical abuse, sexual abuse, and neglect.
  • Facilitates individuals or group classes in compliance with Standards of Care, addressing substance abuse education and relapse prevention.
  • Aids in completion, with regards to substance abuse treatments, of progress reports, discharge summaries and documentation of treatment sessions.

Requirements

  • hour call and respond swiftly, rationally and decisively to emergency situations.

Work Schedule

  • Full-Time position.
  • Call responsibilities required.
  • Weekend coverage may be required.
  • Night or evening shifts may be required.
