Key Responsibilities
- Review orders for appropriateness and complete final verification.
- Assess the effectiveness, safety and affordability of patient medications.
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to develop and optimize patient medication therapy and provide pharmacotherapy consultations as requested in practice area.
- Provide drug information on medication use, dosage, side effects and composition to physicians, nurses, and patients/families.
