Key Responsibilities
- must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit.
- must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span, possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient’s status, interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs.
- must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care ACLS PALS, NRP may be required in specific units.
- provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit.
Requirements

- He/she is expected to adhere to and abide by the rules and regulations set forth by the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act.
