Key Responsibilities
- Complete intake/screening/assessment process within appropriate time frames as designated by state regulatory/accrediting body/agency standards.
- Develop treatment plans for clients in accordance with state regulatory/accrediting body guidelines that demonstrate individualization and evolution based on information gathered from assessment.
- Facilitate group counseling, group education, family conferences, and individual sessions focused on resolving problems related to substance use that interfere with the person’s functioning.
- Document all services provided in accordance with state regulatory/accrediting body/agency standards.
Requirements
- Master’s or bachelor’s degree (non-licensed) in a human services field and credentialed to provide services within scope of practice required.
- Hold the credentials of a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
- Individuals must be willing to become credentialed in additional states and provide telehealth services.
- Additional Qualifications: Successful completion of background check including criminal record, driving record, abuse/neglect, and fingerprint check.
