Physical Therapist Assistant

Key Responsibilities

Provides skilled physical therapy treatment under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to implement individualized treatment plans. Monitors patient progress, documents care in electronic medical records, and educates patients and families on home exercise programs.

Requirements

Requires successful completion of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program resulting in an Associate's degree. Candidates must hold or be eligible for a current New York State Physical Therapist Assistant license and possess current CPR certification.
