Key Responsibilities
- Perform crisis intervention with patient and/or family in accordance with hospital standards.
- Explain and clarify to patients the purpose of the various treatment modalities and their functions and how such programs may be of service to them in accordance with hospital standards.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment team in providing patient care in accordance with hospital standards.
- Coordinate further treatment pertaining to substance abuse in accordance with hospital standards.
Requirements
- High School or GED required, Baccalaurate preferred.
- New York State Certification as Substance Abuse Counselor, required.
Benefits & Compensation
- Salary: $87,693 - $88,878
