About the Role
Join Silverado Hospice North Houston as Director of Patient Care Services. Lead clinical teams delivering hospice care with compassion and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as role model and resource for nursing and interdisciplinary teams.
- Support clinical problem-solving and interventions.
- Collaborate on hiring, orientation, retention, and performance.
- Manage budgets for labor, pharmacy, and supplies.
- Coordinate care with RN Case Managers and physicians.
- Oversee patients requiring higher levels of care.
- Liaise between administration, clinical staff, patients, families, and community.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in nursing or related field.
- Current RN license in Texas.
- Active CPR certification; Hospice and Palliative Nursing certification preferred.
- Minimum 4 years hospice/palliative/home health experience.
- At least 1 year supervisory experience.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lead bereavement support groups.
- Flexibility to work outside regular hours.
