About the Role

Join University Hospital, Newark NJ as a Respiratory Therapist – ICU Focus in United States.

Key Responsibilities

The primary purpose of a Respiratory Therapist Registered (RTR) position is to provide direct patient care.

Works primarily in the Intensive Care unit (ICU), collaborates with nurses and physician in the implementation of individualized care plans.

Requirements

Must possess the ability, education and training required to meet the needs of patients of all ages based on age and developmental status.

Successful completion of study from a program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC).

Must possess the Registry (RRT) credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.

Must have a valid license issued by the New Jersey State Board of Respiratory Care.

Work Schedule

Per Diem position.
