About the Role
Join Good Samaritan as a Physician Practice Nurse – Cardiology in Vincennes, Indiana. Job Summary: The Physician Practice Nurse RN will facilitate patient care during each scheduled office visit. In addition RN will assist physician with any patient care issues as well as follow up, such as prescriptions, refills, prior authorizations etc.
Key Responsibilities
- Performs triage activities and prepares patient for physical examination.
- Updates and revises all patient medical history as it pertains to each specific visit.
- Explains treatment procedures to patients, if applicable.
- Assists physician during patient examination as requested by provider.
Requirements
