The Behavioral Health Specialist provides direct care to psychiatric patients, including monitoring vital signs, assisting with daily living activities, and ensuring a safe, therapeutic environment. They also conduct safety observations, document patient status, and participate in de-escalation or crisis interventions as needed.
Candidates must possess either a Bachelor’s degree in a behavioral health field or a High School diploma with at least one year of direct inpatient behavioral health experience. Additionally, a valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification are required.
