The Oral Surgery Dental Assistant provides chairside support during complex surgical procedures and monitors patients undergoing sedation. They are also responsible for maintaining sterile environments, managing surgical instruments, and documenting patient care in accordance with safety protocols.
Candidates must have completed an accredited dental assistant course and possess 1-2 years of chairside dental assisting experience. A successful completion of a Radiology Safety and Health exam and current RQI Healthcare Provider eCredential are required.
