Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Eligible

This position qualifies for federal student loan forgiveness. After 10 years of qualifying payments while working full-time for a nonprofit employer, the remaining balance on your Direct Loans may be forgiven.

Join University of Maryland Medical System as a Nursery Nurse Practitioner – PRN, Home Call in Maryland. Job Requirements Job specifics: · Join a multifaceted team that covers new baby care in a growing obstetrics program. o The Advanced Practice Practitioner (APP) will be trained to cover all aspects of the nursery team, including inpatient care and home call.

Key Responsibilities

  • o Develop effective working relationships and maintain good communication with other team members.
  • · Participates in APP Council meetings, service line specific and general APP meetings and events, and organizational meetings and events.
  • · Engages in leadership activities including, but not limited to, APP representation on organizational committees, training, education, mentorship of other APPs and other learners.
  • · Participates in APP educational and other learning opportunities as they arise.

Requirements

  • Job specifics: · Join a multifaceted team that covers new baby care in a growing obstetrics program.
  • o The Advanced Practice Practitioner (APP) will be trained to cover all aspects of the nursery team, including inpatient care and home call.
  • o The PRN Nursery APP must work two (2) shifts per quarter.
  • · Perform routine and expanded job descriptions as listed in the provider's collaboration agreement on file with the Maryland Board of Physicians or Maryland Board of Nursing.
