About the Role

Join Inova as a Occupational Therapist OT Acute Care PRN in United States. Inova Fairfax Hospital is looking for a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our Acute Care team. This is role is PRN/as needed requiring at least 16 hours/month Inova is consistently ranked a national healthcare leader in safety, quality and patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

Documents evaluation results clearly and completely according to department policy.

Completes discharge notes that include a summary of the course of treatment, progress toward goals, discharge needs, recommendations for follow

up and patient and/or family education.

Communicates effectively with patients, families, medical staff, care team members, students, supervisors and outside contacts.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy (OT)

Licensure: Virginia license in Occupational Therapy upon start

Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association upon start Preferred Qualification:
