The Counselor Assistant supports individuals in the recovery process by facilitating community connections and developing long-term recovery plans. They also perform individual and group therapy sessions under supervision and manage client documentation.
A high school diploma or GED is required for this position. A bachelor's degree in human services and one year of experience in substance abuse treatment are preferred.
