About the Role

This locum tenens hospitalist position is located in Vernal, Utah, near the Colorado border. It is open to board certified or eligible Family Practice or Internal Medicine physicians. The role focuses on inpatient care including rounding, admissions, and ICU management.

The Offer

You will work a 7 days on, 7 days off schedule. Daytime duties include rounding and admissions. Evening call is required. Procedures include ventilator management, intubations, and pulmonary care. No head or complex trauma cases are involved. Air travel, rental car, and hotel accommodations are provided if needed.

The Lifestyle

The schedule is intense during the 7 days on but followed by a full week off. Evening call is required, so nights are part of the job. Weekend coverage is included in the 7-day shifts.

The Setup

You will join a hospitalist team managing typical ICU and inpatient cases. Excellent communication skills are essential.
