About the Role
Join Cherokee Health Systems as a School Based Therapist in United States. School Based Therapist Monday to Friday (no weekends, nights, or major holidays) Full-time (40/hour per week) Locations available: Blount Co, TN. Who we are: River Valley Health is a comprehensive Federally Qualified Health Center caring for over 70,000 patients across 13 counties in Tennessee.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group counseling to address emotional, behavioral, and academic challenges,
- Conduct evaluations to identify students’ mental health needs and develop intervention plans.
- Design and lead programs addressing issues like bullying, substance abuse, conflict resolutions, and stress management.
- Work with school staff to implement programs that promote a positive school climate.
Requirements
- Master's degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or related field.
- Active license and in good standing in the State of Tennessee, eligible for licensure, or in the process of getting a license as a LMSW, LCSW, LMFT, or LPC.
- Ability to consult and communicate effectively with school staff. Skilled in risk
