About the Role

Join MedTrust as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) in United States.

Key Responsibilities

  • will follow established protocols for obtaining such medications Follows all County Policies and Procedures with regard to security and patient contacts Collaborates with HSA, Medical Director, and Medical NP regarding patients as needed Attends mandatory monthly staff meetings and annual trainings via phone or in person Attends quarterly MAC meetings and participates in quarterly P&T calls via phone or in person Follows all PREA guidelines and standards according to the County Sheriff’s office Follows chain of command at all times Treats staff, security, and patients with respect and professionalism at all times Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Must have an ACTIVE, unrestricted APRN license in the state of Oregon with Mental Health Certification Must have at least one year experience Correctional experience preferred Must have a valid DEA Basic Life Support (BLS).
