About the Role

This position is for psychiatrists providing inpatient psychiatric care to adult, child & adolescent, or multi-age populations. Work onsite at partner facilities or remotely via telepsychiatry. The role focuses on acute psychiatric stabilization and long-term treatment planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations.
• Manage ongoing inpatient treatment and medication.
• Participate in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings.
• Maintain clear, timely documentation.
• Collaborate with nursing, social work, and therapy staff.
• Provide crisis intervention and discharge support.
• Ensure compliance with safety and ethical standards.

Requirements

• MD or DO with Board Certification or Eligibility in Psychiatry.
• Active unrestricted medical license.
• DEA registration or eligibility.
• Experience in inpatient psychiatry preferred.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Comfortable with telehealth platforms.
• Flexible full-time or part-time scheduling.
