About the Role

Join Wheel as a Credentialing Associate (temporary role) supporting the credentialing process for a nationwide virtual care provider network. You'll ensure providers meet federal, state, and NCQA standards to practice compliantly.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage new credentialing files and verify provider credentials.
• Communicate with clinicians, healthcare entities, and verification sources.
• Maintain accurate provider data in the system.
• Ensure adherence to credentialing policies and assist with licensing expansion.
• Support internal teams and clinicians with credentialing questions.

Requirements

• 1+ years of credentialing experience.
• Knowledge of NCQA credentialing policies and delegated credentialing.
• Strong communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.
