Pharmacist Critical Care Specialist

Key Responsibilities

The Pharmacist is responsible for ensuring appropriate, evidence-based medication use, preventing and resolving medication-related problems, and making patient-centered therapy recommendations. They must also participate as an effective member of interdisciplinary care teams and provide medication education to patients and families.

Requirements

Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience practicing as a critical care pharmacist or equivalent residency experience, with a PGY1 and/or PGY2 residency in critical care or emergency medicine being preferred. A required license as a Registered Pharmacist is mandatory upon hire.
