Addiction Counselor

Key Responsibilities

• Empower clients through individual and group sessions to build resilience, enhance life skills, and make meaningful changes that support recovery and personal growth.

• Complete and maintain accurate records or reports regarding the patients' histories and progress, services provided, or other required information.

• Develop client treatment plans based on research, clinical experience, and client histories.

• Formulate and document in the medical record an individualized plan of care for the patient in a timely manner, in compliance with departmental guidelines.

Requirements

• Substance Use Disorder Qualification: Must meet Idaho Code requirements for a Qualified Substance Use Disorder Professional.

• Experience & Skills: A working knowledge of administrative procedures in a Federally Funded Community Health Center (FQHC) is preferred.

• Proficient computer skills required for maintaining electronic health records and internal communication.

Work Schedule

• Part-Time position.
