Key Responsibilities

Responsible for the care and safety of patients undergoing radiation therapy and use of equipment to minimize hazards of electric shock, burns and extraneous radiation to patients.

Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient, including geriatric and general population.

Responsible for safe handling of equipment; performs a pre

procedure check on all equipment; provides preventative maintenance.

Requirements

High School graduate; BS degree preferred.

Graduation from an AMA approved school of Radiation Therapy Technology.

Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

Certified by the State of Maine to practice and administer radiation.

Work Schedule

Full-Time position.
