Key Responsibilities

  • Provide physical therapy to patients who have lost mobility, strength or functionality in facilities such as nursing homes, rehab centers, assisted living facilities, clinics and hospitals
  • Work with a team of physicians, nurses, CNAs, OTs and SLPs to provide excellent patient care
  • Assist physician in evaluation of patient function and performance, as well as equipment needs
  • Conduct therapies, document progress and make recommendations if therapy services should be modified

Applicants must be a graduate of an accredited Certified Physical Therapy Assistant Program and hold an active CPTA license in Kansas, along with current CPR certification. Required attributes include good clinical judgment, strong interpersonal skills, dexterity, and compassion.
