Occupational Therapist - Skilled Nursing Facility, Travel

Key Responsibilities

The Occupational Therapist will assess residents, create personalized care plans, and provide skilled therapy to enhance Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and mobility for orthopedic, neurological, and post-acute conditions. Responsibilities also include teaching adaptive strategies, collaborating with the care team, and maintaining accurate documentation of progress and outcomes.

Requirements

Candidates must possess an active Occupational Therapist license in California and hold a Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Required knowledge includes post-acute rehabilitation, ADL retraining, and adaptive equipment, alongside strong skills in assessment, treatment planning, communication, and documentation.
