Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients experiencing acute or chronic pain to determine the underlying cause and appropriate treatment plan.
- Provide ambulatory care for pain management patients, including medication management, interventional procedures, and follow-up care.
- Prescribe medications, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and perform procedures within scope of practice and under supervision when appropriate.
- Collaborate with supervising physicians and multidisciplinary team members to develop individualized treatment plans that may include pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic therapies.
