About the Role

Join The Salvation Army as a Family Therapist – $60K, Substance Abuse in United States. The Midland Division Salvation Army Midtown Service and Treatment Center is looking for someone who like to make a difference in the lives of families who are dealing with substance abuse. We are seeking a candidate to fill the role of Family Therapist at our Midtown Service and Treatment Center.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct family/ support system assessments including psycho

social, of admitted clients to determine client’s need of family, mental health and or trauma treatment and make referrals for on

going psychiatric treatment as appropriate.

Provide mental health diagnoses as appropriate after assessment of clients.

Requirements

Adhere to professional standards of practice. Appropriately represent The Salvation Army in the community and be responsible to and be supervised by the Administrator and Clinical Supervisor.

Maintain confidentiality, practice Salvation Army code of ethics and comply with Salvation Army Safe From Harm guidelines.

Maintain positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner that fosters good relationships with clients, co

Must be capable of performing the above essential duties in an office environment to include using a computer, answering phones, etc. Most work will be indoors in a temperature

Benefits & Compensation

Salary: $60K

Work Schedule

Full-Time position.

Call responsibilities required.

Weekend coverage may be required.
