About the Role
Join The Salvation Army as a Family Therapist – $60K, Substance Abuse in United States. The Midland Division Salvation Army Midtown Service and Treatment Center is looking for someone who like to make a difference in the lives of families who are dealing with substance abuse. We are seeking a candidate to fill the role of Family Therapist at our Midtown Service and Treatment Center.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct family/ support system assessments including psycho
- social, of admitted clients to determine client’s need of family, mental health and or trauma treatment and make referrals for on
- going psychiatric treatment as appropriate.
- Provide mental health diagnoses as appropriate after assessment of clients.
Requirements
- Adhere to professional standards of practice. Appropriately represent The Salvation Army in the community and be responsible to and be supervised by the Administrator and Clinical Supervisor.
- Maintain confidentiality, practice Salvation Army code of ethics and comply with Salvation Army Safe From Harm guidelines.

- Must be capable of performing the above essential duties in an office environment to include using a computer, answering phones, etc. Most work will be indoors in a temperature
