About the Role

Join UPMC as a Behavioral Health Therapist – M-F Schedule, Sign-On Bonus in United States. STAR Clinic is a world-renowned clinic, specializing in evidence-based assessment and treatment for depressed, anxious, suicidal teens and undergraduate college students. We have outpatient and IOP levels of care and provide multidisciplinary treatment team approach.

Key Responsibilities

• · Quality Assurance and Improvement: Participates in program activities to ensure quality and performance.

• · Clinical Documentation: Completes documentation on the same day of service and provides necessary information for service authorization.

• · Case Reviews: Periodically reviews cases and discusses significant clinical changes with the team.

• · Patient Assessment: Assesses and updates patient needs and incorporates them into treatment plans.

Requirements

• as defined in practicing state's code) · One year of clinical experience preferred.

• · Knowledge of psychiatric evaluation and assessment process, as well as application of current version of the DSM preferred.

• · Experience in diagnosing and treating behavioral and psychiatric conditions preferred.
