Key Responsibilities
- Provide Direct Patient Care: Develop, recommend, and monitor individualized pharmacotherapeutic regimens using expertise in pharmacology, pathophysiology, and pharmacokinetics.
- Participate in patient care rounds and collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal medication outcomes.
- Deliver Clinical Pharmacy Services: Offer timely drug information, therapeutic recommendations, and evidence‑based guidance to the medical staff.
- Support antimicrobial stewardship, anticoagulation management, and other clinical initiatives as assigned.
Requirements
- Education & Licensure Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy required; Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or other advanced degree preferred.
- Must be licensed, or eligible for licensure, as a pharmacist in the State of Michigan.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey clinical information clearly and compassionately.
Work Schedule
- Full-time position.
- Day shift only - no nights.
