About the Role
CHRISTUS Health seeks an experienced Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their cardiology team in San Antonio, Texas. This full-time role includes inpatient and outpatient responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform patient assessments, histories, and physicals
- Manage acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions
- Order and interpret diagnostic studies
- Assist in hospital rounds, admissions, and discharges
- Collaborate with supervising cardiologists
- Educate patients and families on heart health
- Document care accurately in EMR
Requirements
- Licensed ACNP or PA in Texas
- National certification (ANCC, AANP, or NCCPA)
- Cardiology or inpatient acute care experience required
