Join UT Health East Texas as a Cardiovascular PRN Physician Assistant – 7 on 7 off, Base + RVU in United States.

Key Responsibilities

will play a vital role in providing comprehensive care to patients across inpatient, outpatient, and operative settings — including first-assisting in robotic thoracic surgery.

Manage the care of cardiovascular surgery patients in accordance with approved privileges and clinical prot.

manage clinical progress independently and in consultation with the attending.

coordinate multidisciplinary discharge planning.

Requirements

Master’s degree and national certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA).

Current licensure (or eligibility) to practice in the State of Texas.

Prior experience in cardiovascular surgery, or related surgical specialty preferred.

Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and ability to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
