Join UT Health East Texas as a Cardiovascular PRN Physician Assistant – 7 on 7 off, Base + RVU in United States.

Key Responsibilities

  • will play a vital role in providing comprehensive care to patients across inpatient, outpatient, and operative settings — including first-assisting in robotic thoracic surgery.
  • Manage the care of cardiovascular surgery patients in accordance with approved privileges and clinical prot.
  • manage clinical progress independently and in consultation with the attending.
  • coordinate multidisciplinary discharge planning.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree and national certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA).
  • Current licensure (or eligibility) to practice in the State of Texas.
  • Prior experience in cardiovascular surgery, or related surgical specialty preferred.
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and ability to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
