Key Responsibilities
- will play a vital role in providing comprehensive care to patients across inpatient, outpatient, and operative settings — including first-assisting in robotic thoracic surgery.
- Manage the care of cardiovascular surgery patients in accordance with approved privileges and clinical prot.
- manage clinical progress independently and in consultation with the attending.
- coordinate multidisciplinary discharge planning.
Requirements
- Master’s degree and national certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA).
- Current licensure (or eligibility) to practice in the State of Texas.
- Prior experience in cardiovascular surgery, or related surgical specialty preferred.
- Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and ability to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
