About the Role
Join Jackson Health as a Pediatric Occupational Therapist – Per Diem, Variable Shift in North Miami Beach, Florida.
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrates continued competence in the application of growth and development principles in the delivery of treatment to patients aging from adolescence to geriatrics.
- Selects and administers appropriate initial evaluation to referred patient's with varying diagnoses and all age groups.
- Collaborates with patients and family in the development of an individual treatment plan, identifying safe, realistic, and age appropriate goals while maintaining a sensitivity to age specific needs.
- Assesses data reflective of the patient's status and interprets the information to implement effective therapeutic interventions specific to patient's age.
Requirements
- - Job function requires extended standing or walking.
- Must be able to carry objects weighing 21 to 50 pounds.
- Able to lift or move objects weighing 51 to 100 pounds with the use of appropriate devices.
- Jobs in this group require frequent visual acuity to perform activities related to extended use of computers.
