About the Role

Join McLaren Health Care as a Radiation Therapist I in United States. Essential Functions and Responsibilities as Assigned: Administers radiation treatments as prescribed by the radiation oncologist. Maintains EMR and other documentation related to treatment simulation and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

as Assigned: Administers radiation treatments as prescribed by the radiation oncologist.

Maintains EMR and other documentation related to treatment simulation and delivery.

Assists in simulation procedures, as ordered by the radiation oncologist, for the purpose of treatment planning.

With supervision, fabricates treatment immobilization devices and treatment aids, as ordered by the radiation oncologist, for the purpose of treatment planning.

Work Schedule

Full-time position.

Requirements

Candidates must possess an Associate degree in radiation therapy or be in the final clinical rotation of an accredited program, and must be eligible for board certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Certification must be obtained within one year of employment, and BLS certification is required within six months.
