Urgent Care Physician - 14 shifts/month - South Wilkes-Barre

About the Role

Join Geisinger's ConvenientCare+ as an Urgent Care Physician in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. Work 14 rotating shifts per month with no overnight shifts or mandated additional shifts. This hospital-based clinic offers autonomy with onsite physician support and limited administrative burden.

Key Responsibilities

• Work 12-hour shifts Monday-Friday and 10-hour shifts Saturday-Sunday.
• Provide urgent care with access to diagnostics including X-Ray, Ultrasound, CT, and MRI.
• Admit patients directly to the hospital if necessary.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physicians, advanced practice providers, RNs, phlebotomy, and radiology technicians.

Requirements

• Medical degree with appropriate licensure.
• Experience in urgent care or emergency medicine preferred.
