About the Role
Join Cazenovia Recovery Systems Inc as a Mental Health Counselor – Full Time, Tues-Sat in United States.
Key Responsibilities
- Provides mental health screening, assessment, treatment planning, individual counseling, group treatment, and family intervention.
- Based on program need, will be responsible for carrying a caseload. Facilitates counseling sessions and groups with residents, couples, and family members.
- Works with residents to develop and reach treatment goals and revises goals as needed.
- Provides residents with realistic crisis and/or safety plans as needed.
Requirements
- Possesses a relevant license such as a LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, or LMHC-P.
- Master’s Degree in Human Services or related field and a minimum of three years’ supervised counseling experience.
- Field placement as an intern may be applied to the required counseling experience.
- In addition to the qualifications above, a valid New York State driver’s license is required.
Work Schedule
- Full-Time position.
- Weekend coverage may be required.
- Day shift only - no nights.
