About the Role
Join University of Colorado as a Group Counselor – University of Colorado in United States.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of a strategic plan for group therapy and workshop programming at the Counseling Center.
- Facilitate therapeutic groups and psychoeducational workshops for students.
- launch and sustain group and workshop services that have been inactive, including assessment of student needs and program evaluation.
- Drive traffic to the groups and workshops programming at the center via outreach, advertising, and campus engagement.
Requirements
- Advanced degree in counseling, psychology, marriage and family therapy, social work, or a related field by 5/30/26.
- Registration with DORA in Colorado as a mental health licensure candidate (i. e. LPCC, MFTC, SWC/LSW) by 5/30/26.
- One (1) year of clinical experience; may include internship or fellowship training.
- Experience facilitating therapeutic groups or psychoeducational workshops. Group Counselor (Licensed):

- Salary: $70.7K - $79.7K
Work Schedule
- Full-Time position.
- Hybrid position - combination of remote and on-site.
