About the Role

Join University of Colorado as a Group Counselor – University of Colorado in United States.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of a strategic plan for group therapy and workshop programming at the Counseling Center.
  • Facilitate therapeutic groups and psychoeducational workshops for students.
  • launch and sustain group and workshop services that have been inactive, including assessment of student needs and program evaluation.
  • Drive traffic to the groups and workshops programming at the center via outreach, advertising, and campus engagement.

Requirements

  • Advanced degree in counseling, psychology, marriage and family therapy, social work, or a related field by 5/30/26.
  • Registration with DORA in Colorado as a mental health licensure candidate (i. e. LPCC, MFTC, SWC/LSW) by 5/30/26.
  • One (1) year of clinical experience; may include internship or fellowship training.
  • Experience facilitating therapeutic groups or psychoeducational workshops. Group Counselor (Licensed):
